On-Line Television Captioning

On-line television captioning is a process whereby captioning is added to a television program as the program is being created. In on-line television captioning the captionist is physically present at the television station and type the dialogue as the program is being developed. Captionists also perform on-line captioning at the studio to provide captioning for the station’s pre-taped videos.
